The theme of the Conference
XI International Conference "Insights into Development" - is a dialogue platform for representatives of civil society organizations, government and business structures. The purpose of the conference is to discuss available best practices, prospects and determine present impact and role of leadership and volunteerism in achieving the development goals of the Central Asian countries. The conference will also showcase the most significant results of the "Partnership for Innovation - P4I" Program for the purpose of best practices dissemination.
FOR THE FIRST TIME ONLINE AND OFFLINE
For the first time, the conference "Insights into Development" will be held in a combined format - online and offline. About 250 representatives of civil society organizations, government agencies, leaders of local communities, international organizations, business, scientists, countries of Central Asia, CIS, Europe and the United States will meet live.

Effective corporate social responsibility: experience and prospects (Tel-Aviv University Friends Association)
The session will present the results of introduction of new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices in Kazakhstan, discuss the possibilities of developing and expanding new CSR practices, and will be aimed at establishing partnerships with government bodies and business in the field of developing effective CSR policies.

COVID-19 response: Human Rights and Volunteerism Workshop
The workshop aims to identify the role and the impact of volunteerism contribution and best response to reduce the pandemic implications for population, in particular, for vulnerable groups in the Central Asian countries.

GALA CEREMONY OF INTERNATIONAL CONTEST AWARD AMAZING PEOPLE PRIZE
The prize is awarded to the best civic and volunteer initiatives, implemented in 2018-2020 in the Central Asian countries, selected through a "popular" vote. The objectives of the contest are to popularize, publicize and disseminate the best practices of civic engagement.

Volunteer Action in the city of Samarkand
CSO representatives, volunteers, initiative groups will take part in the action, during which the volunteers will examine the historical sites of Samarkand for accessibility for people with disabilities. The PR campaign of the volunteer action "Accessible historical monuments of Samarkand" will be also held.

CLOSING OF THE CONFERENCE
Amazing People Prize
Contest for the best civil projects that are being implemented in the countries of Central Asia. Last year, 87 applications were submitted. Voting for the best projects was held openly online.
